Make-and-Do: Final Linky Week (At Least for Now)

AmazingMess

Thanks to everyone who has linked up with me these past few weeks!  I've decided to put this linky on hold for a little while and reevaluate in the fall!  In the meantime, I hate to waste this lovely graphic my sister made, so I'm planning to share "retro" crafts with you from the original (80s) Make and Do from Childcraft!  I know the girls are going to love it! ;)

Here are a few of the wonderful bloggers that linked up last week:

If you're looking for a new way to practice letters, check out these reverse stencils from Mama Pea Pod!

Sometimes we cook with kids...but we don't really let them cook!  Fumbling Through Parenthood shares her child's adventures making pudding pops!

You'll be surprised by how easy it is to make this beautiful butterfly.  Check it out at I Can Teach My Child!

Make and Do: June 2, 2011

I'm going back-and-forth.

I'm trying to decide if I should continue this linky -- or not!  I love to feature other's ideas, but I have this struggle with time!  Having two blogs is a bit of a challenge and to make this grow how I'd like it to grow would take quite a bit more time than I'm currently spending.

So, I'm going to do it one more week and then re-evaluate!  If you have any input, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a message!

Otherwise, check out these fun (and fabulous) ideas!

Jada Roo Can Do shares her version of marble painting -- only it's pool painting!  I love it!!

Picture
Josh and Jenny share a unique ducky painting project!  I would've never thought of this...but it's great fine motor practice!!  Afterwards, the little ones will have a blast scrubbing those little duckies!
It's the time of year for campfires!!  This is a wonderfully simple and appropriate craft for toddlers and preschoolers!  Check it out at Fumbling Through Parenthood!

Make and Do: May 19, 2011

I knew this would happen.

I loved every single post that linked up with us last week on Make and Do!

I just have to do it.  I have to share them all!  So as not to overwhelm you, I'll be sharing some here and some over at Motherhood on a Dime!

Wow!  You have to head over to Child Central Station to see the amazing instruments they made out of recycled items!  That backyard is magical place!

Leaning, Loving, and Learning My Way Through Life has the most precious game of Memory I have ever seen!  I will definitely be making a set of these.

Preschoolers love pranks!  Head over to Fumbling through Parenthood to see this "shampoo"!

This is such a whimsical idea at Having Fun at Home!  The girls would absolutely love to make these hat magnets and "paper dolls"!

I love parachutes, but I've never thought about getting one of my own.  However, after seeing the marvelous activities over at Messy Kids, I might just need to invest in one!

Make and Do @The Amazing Mess -- My First LINKY!!!

Make and Do (Childcraft -- The How and Why Library, 11)

Have you seen this book?!!

It's a book from my childhood!  My mom said it never stayed on the shelf for long.  It was always missing!

Guilty.

One of my sisters and I loved this book.  We made all kinds of creations from it.  We played the games.  We tried the projects.  It was an amazing book called Make and Do

My mom still has it!

Photobucket

With a little inspiration from that book, I'm very excited to be launching my own weekly linky entitled Make and Do @ The Amazing Mess!  I'll be hosting it every Thursday!

It's easy to do...you simply share something you've made or done (Make and Do)!!  I'll be picking out my favorite post ideas each week and sharing them the next week.

I'm so excited because I'll be using the same linky here and at Motherhood on a Dime.  Not only will your post be visible here, it will also be seen by the readers over there!!
