5 Minute Activity: Light-Up Christmas Tree
A friend gave us a Lite Brite she had picked up from a garage sale (thanks, Glenna), and the girls have really enjoyed making all kinds of designs. I thought this would be a festive idea...
Supplies:
- Lite Brite & Pegs
- Green construction paper
- Marker
1) Draw a tree shape on a green piece of construction paper. Place on the Light Brite and add the colored pegs.
2) Light up your tree!

Awww...now I wish I had one!
Garage sales are great!!
I agree. I need to visit more this coming summer than I did last!
I loved my lite brite as a kid! I wish I had one for my boys.
Well, with a baby it was probably a little more challenging, Terri! I think dragging three little girls to them is still challenging...and they have grown-up quite a bit. I think it's the in-and-out of the car routine that wears me down!
Mommy Cameron -- We were so fortunate to have one given to us. I've seen the new ones and they are pretty neat with their flat backs!! That's the biggest problem with the one I have -- it takes up so much space!
This is such a cute idea. Thanks for sharing. Glad to find you on the I can teach my child link up!
Thanks for visiting, Kristen!!
Great idea! I have a Lite Bright that I also found at a garage sale, it was used in my classroom, but my daughter has never used it. I should get it out for this!
I just saw a Lite Brite at Target!
