Heart-Shaped Pizza

These are perfect for a kid-friendly Valentine's Day dinner!

Supplies:
Pizza Pan
Rolling pin
Pizza dough
Heart-shaped cookie cutter(s)
Pizza sauce
Pepperoni
Sliced cheese
 1)  Roll out the pizza dough and cut a heart shape (either free-hand or with cookie cutters).

2)  Spread with sauce.  Add pepperoni or other topping, if desired.

3)  Use a smaller cookie cutter to cut a heart shape from the cheese.

4)  Place the cheese on top and follow the baking directions for your pizza crust!

We made these for dinner the other night, and the girls really enjoyed having their own special pizza!

Hey Stacie,

This is Melanie, Tami's friend from Sterling :) Just wanted to say I brought snow inside for my 16-month old yesterday to play with after getting the idea from you. He had a good time so we're going to do it again today :) I was also going to see if, in your stash of good activities for kids, you had additional ideas for those younger kiddos (under 2). I'm always looking for a good idea to keep my little boy occupied and learning something! I didn't have your e-mail and I'm taking a break from FB for a time, so I thought I'd post it here. If you have any ideas, feel free to e-mail me at melaniehaspels@gmail.com unless you need a blog post idea ;) Thanks for all your good ideas!
