Saturday Savings: ThinkFun Games at Amazon & More

We were visiting a friend's house, and she pulled out a game I wasn't familiar with -- Zingo by ThinkFun.  We love games, and I'm always interested in adding new ones to our collection!  My friend highly recommended it, and it looks like a great game for preschoolers.  The age level is 4+, but I think a three year old could play with help.  I did a little browsing and found the best price on Amazon.

ThinkFun Shape By ShapeAmazon currently has a special offer on select ThinkFun products:  Buy two and receive 25% off!  I looked at Zingo and Shape By Shape(tangrams).  After the special, the cost for both games would be $19.72 (plus tax) shipped!

ThinkFun ZingoOther games in the special include What's Gnu (spelling game), Rush Hour (I've seen this one at our local coffee house), Gordians Knot (brain teaser), and several others.  Click on any of the above game links and look for special offers to see the complete selection.

Being the cheapskate frugal girl I am, I normally like to pay less for games.  I did some looking, but this special appears to be about the best price for this brand of games (if you qualify for free shipping).  It may come down more around Christmas, but who knows?!!

Some of our other favorite preschool games include:

Candy Land Castle Game
Candy Land Castle Game - Simple enough for a two year old!

Sequence for Kids
Sequence for Kids - Some friends gave this to us.  It is a great game to teach beginning strategy (best for ages 4+) .

Candyland
Candyland - Always a classic!  You can usually find a great sale on it around Christmas.

Giraffalaff Limbo
Giraffalaff Limbo- Good for the winter months, but the music is annoying.  Just take the batteries out and turn on your own tunes!  Currently priced at 71% off on Amazon.

 Nickelodeon Tri-ominos for Kids
Nickelodeon Tri-ominos for Kids

Tri-Ominos For Kids
Tri-Ominos For Kids - I loved Tri-ominos as a kid!  We have the animal version, but the Nickelodeon version is a little cheaper.
Original Memory
Original Memory - You can easily make your own Memory game, but this version makes a great gift.  It is often on sale around the holidays as well.

Do you have a favorite preschool game?

We are think fun junkies here :). We play Zingo with little ones as early as 2 years, we just change the rules a little bit if they are not yet verbal. My son (7, almost 8) loves the River Crossing game and the Traffic Jam.

My kids have loved "Crocodile Dentist" since they were babies (very easy, instantaneous setup, no parts to lose) and we also like to play "Hi-Ho Cherry-O", "Chutes and Ladders", "Old Maid", "Twister", and "My First UNO". Great post!

We LOVE ThinkFun games over here. :) The first one that I got for the kids was Zingo. My kids also love Clever Castle and S'Match.

Thanks for the follow. I'm your newest follower. :)

About being a Baby Signs Instructor, yes, there is special coursework. You could visit www.babysigns.com for more info and details. It's been a very rewarding endeavor for me. You could email me if you have more questions. I'd be happy to answer them. :)
