Heart Placemat, Coaster or Window Art

Emily, a Facebook reader, shared an idea for a Valentine placemat.  I loved it and came up with a few variations as well!

Supplies:
Contact paper
Paper scraps
Heart template
Scissors
1)  Cut a square of clear contact paper and lay sticky side up.  Tear pieces of construction paper or tissue paper (we used what we found in our scrap box) and stick to the square.

2)  Cover with another square of contact paper.

3)  Make a heart template and trace onto the artwork.

4)  Cut-out the hearts.

Use these as a placemat, coaster, or hang them in a window!  Your final project size will be determined by what you choose to make!
