Random Thought -- My Messy House
"My house is clean enough to be healthy, but messy enough to be happy!" (Author Unknown)
I hope that quote encourages you today. I heard it at a homeschool convention last weekend, and it really hit me! I feel like I spend so much time trying to keep the house clean that sometimes I miss out on just relaxing and enjoying my girls. Like today, I vacuumed and mopped, cleaned the bathroom, and helped the girls straighten their rooms. Within 10 minutes, most of what I had done was undone (can you hear my scream of frustration!). Obviously, we need to do these things, but I'm trying to remind myself to let go a little. The world isn't going to end if someone stops by and sees my mess of a house! Maybe I should hang that quote on my front door as a warning!!!

This is so true, I lost my 6yr.old little girl 2 years ago. While she was sick I was busy cleaning the house and my other daughter's room. I thought she would get better but she died withing a week of her sickness. So love your children and spend as much time with them as you can. You can always clean your house, but you don't have a guarntee that your child be there tommorrow.
