Simple Coin Sort
After exploring coins, this easy activity gives little ones a chance to improve their sorting skills -- and the older children can begin to associate monetary value with each coin.
Supplies:
Paper
Marker or pen
Coins
2. Demonstrate how to sort the coins. Discuss the value of each coin. Allow your child to practice!

Thanks for the great idea on money sorting. My son is doing money in school right now so I think this is something that would help him. I also think my home daycare children that are 4 and 5 would be able to do this too. Thanks!
