Twelve Days of Christmas Crafts and Carols: We Wish You A Merry Christmas

Today's Carol: We Wish You A Merry Christmas
*You can find words and music here.

You need:
Old book
Christmas cookie cutters or patterns
Pencil
Scissors
Cardstock paper
Ribbon

1) Using pages from an old book, trace a Christmas-themed cookie cutter or pattern onto the paper.

2) Cut out the design.

3) Tear a rectangle or square shape from the cardstock. Make sure to fold the paper back and forth to get a nice tear. Glue the shape onto paper.

4) Punch a hole. Thread with ribbon. Hang on your tree!

I really like how these look a little more "classic" than a typical kid's craft! Also, if you place the cut-outs on a white background and frame them, they could make nice, simple wall decorations.
