Spirited Sunday: "Wall of Fame"

One of my favorite things about Christmas is receiving cards and newsletters.  I like to see what is going on with friends and family, and I love to get new pictures!

Right now, the cards hang above my kitchen cabinets, but when Christmas is over, I take them down and save the photos.  Although it is nothing fancy, I have a special bulletin board for all of the pictures -- my "Wall of Fame".  As we go through the year, I enjoy looking at the pictures and remembering.  I also use the pictures to remind me to pray for specific friends and family!

What do you do with the Christmas cards you receive?

Oh you mean you keep those pictures up all year long? I LOVE this idea. Is it in a hallway?

Yes! I keep it up all year! Those are my pictures from last year, so I'll be getting ready to change them out. I put the bulletin board on a wall in my office area!

I always kept mine in a basket like my mom always did. She is VERY tidy! This year I decided to be wild and tape them up all around a door frame in my house. I love it so much more than just having a basket of cards. I love to see all of the people that I love on display or glance at their cards. I guess a bulletin board would tidy it up a little, though!
