Here are a few more "Rock Solid&quo...Stacie, <br /><br />Here are a few more "Rock Solid" ideas:<br /><br />use sandpaper, pepples, and glue to create a picture.<br /><br /> For older preschoolers: If you have a balancing scale, discover how many small rocks equal the weight of one big rock. This would be a fun math activity to introduce the vocabulary predict, weight, equal, balance etc...<br /><br />another math activity: gather some household things that your children use everyday such as a plate, spoon, sock, brush, toothbrush, book, and/or a toy. Then measure each item using rocks. Which item took the most rocks to measure? Which item took the least amount of rocks to measure?
